A flawless base and dramatic, almost sinister countouring was the look sported by the models on the Marni A/W catwalk. M.A.C Senior Artist, Debbie Finnegan, tells us how to achieve the show's Addams Family-inspired make-up.

At Marni Tom Pecheux wanted to give the girls a kooky 'Addams Family' feel. This slightly sinister look was created with the use of quite dramatic contouring and highlighting with matte products to sharpen the features.

We started with a flawless base of M.A.C Sculpt Foundation that was matified with M.A.C Invisible Powders. To then contour the face we used a new M.A.C Pro Longwear Eyeshadow in Mauveless, a flat plum burgundy shade, then a touch of M.A.C Pro Longwear Eyeshadow in Sunny Spot to add a hint of natural caramel to the apples. M.A.C Eyeshadow in Gesso was used to highlight the skin.

M.A.C Pro Longwear Eyeshadow in Mauveless was then blended low under the eye and on the lid almost to the brow. M.A.C Eyeshadow on Gesso was added to the inner corner of the eye. M.A.C Eye Kohl in Fascinating, a pure white shade, was added to the waterline to give a wide eyed effect.

Lips were finally blanked out using concealer.
