Fast but fabulous: Five of the best hair and beauty tutorials for when you need to get ready quick

Getting ready for the office party can be stressful to say the least.

First there's the mad dash to the ladies to make sure you can change in peace. Then there's the horror of bumping into your boss while wearing your most flattering LBD. Not to mention the trial of attempting a good beauty look in the badly strip lit bathrooms!

So we're here to make the process a little less trying for you, selecting five hair and beauty looks you can do in no time at your desk.

Below you'll find the best beauty and hair tutorials that you can do in under 10 minutes. From a smokey eye to a classic beehive, these are the looks you've going to want to do over and over again.

The best bit? You can use these looks at any time, so it might just give you some extra minutes in bed too.

The quick and messy bun

The quick and messy bun

Technically this is a Parisian bun, and no we're not sure why it's called that. Either way, we love this chic and effortless style. You can wear it with a red carpet dress, if you're going to anything swanky but it's equally as great for a night out with your office. Best for when your hair is two-days old so keep spray it with dry shampoo to keep its look.

What you'll need:

- hairspray / pomade

- bobby pins/ kirby grips

- hairband

- hairspray

The Three-minute smokey eye tutorial

The beauty about this look is that it's totally wearable during the day but it's also perfect for the evening too in case you fancy an impromptu night out.

What you'll need:

- brown eyeshadow

- an eyeshadow brush

The two-minute beehive

Tavi Gevinson, former pre-pubescent fashion blogger now bona fide magazine editor and actress, shows you how to do a beehive in 2 minutes flat. Incredible.
