This autumn, Britain’s biggest beauty brands have turned to techni-coloured birds as their muse.
Bird-watching brands include YSL ’s Ombres 5 Lumières in Midnight Garden (£40, out 16 August), with its fusion of lilac and mauve which borrows from the lilac-breasted roller and Chanel’s must-have Peridot nail varnish (£18, out 19 August) which reflects the splendour of the peacock. Finally, MAC channels South America’s Hummingbird with its Eye Shadow in Plumage (£11.50, out now).
