A Finnish fangirl has paid homage to her favourite comic book superheroes - and supervillains - with a stunning array of sci-fi make-up looks.

Karita Brun, a 26-year-old make-up blogger from the city of Järvenpää, is the latest self-taught cosmetics artist to set the internet buzzing with her outlandish creations - Sci-Fi tribute make-up.

Avengers: Iron Man

Her blog Jangsara showcases her own intricate designs, inspired by Marvel Comics' Captain America, The Avengers, Iron Man and Thor.

Avengers: Black Widow

Karita told Stylist that the looks can be created in as litte as five minutes - or can take up to half an hour for intricate designs.

Showcasing eyelash rhinestones, snakeskin print brow bones and red glittery eyelids, the superhero styles are definitely not for the faint-hearted.

Avengers: Loki

Her blog details the products she uses and provides a guide to recreating the looks.

Let us know your favourite Sci-Feye look on Twitter or in the comments section below.
