Drop everything: Urban Decay just launched a brand new Naked palette

Sharpen your elbows and ready your credit card: Urban Decay has launched a new Naked palette, and it might be their best one yet.

The brand are adding the new palette, called Naked Ultimate Basics, to their current sell-out collection of the cult eyeshadow palettes, revered by beauty lovers across the world for delivering a beautifully natural hit of colour.

When the new palette was announced on Instagram yesterday it caused an instant frenzy, with the post already racking up 159,000 likes and over 12,000 comments from beauty devotees desperate to get their hands on the new kit.

Containing no less than 12 brand new shades, the collection brings together classic yellow-based and taupe nudes along with a selection of orange, red and grey nudes (hello, perfect smokey eye and barely-there daytime colours).

Twice the size of it's predecessors, the Naked Basics palette and Naked2 Basics palette, the kit also comes in new square packaging, making it infinitely easier to wedge into your handbag than the original rectangular palettes.

In a very cool move, the brand also revealed the inspiration behind the palette came from listening to their customers. The 12 shades are an all-matte offering, something that Urban Decay fans have apparently been clamouring for for a while (see below).

The palette is set to launch online in the UK on 29 September, and will be priced at $55 (approximately £42.33).
