This is the £4.49 highlighter that's been selling out all summer long

Highlighting, contouring, illuminating, strobing… there’s about a bazillion terms (okay, that maybe a slight over-exaggeration) when it comes to applying that shimmery stuff to your face.

And, as if keeping up with the latest beauty blogger lingo wasn’t overwhelming enough, there’s an incredible number of beauty products to choose from. So which is the best when it comes to getting your glow on?

According to Byrdie, the impressive sales figures for Barry M Illumining Strobe cream speak for themselves – making it the must-have product that’s beating competitors off the shelves at only £4.49 a pop.

Coming in at just under a fiver, the product looks well on its way to becoming a future cult classic.

And, thankfully, it shouldn’t be too hard to track one of these glittery little guys down: stockists include the likes of ASOS (where the item has been a best-seller all season), Superdrug and Boots.

The Barry M creation isn’t just a great budget-friendly beauty product – it also wins points for practicality, too. That short and stubby statue lends itself easily to being tucked away in the corner of a clutch bag, making it ideal to whip out and touch-up during a night out.

It’s also very simple to apply, with no need for a brush or sponge. The rounded point is ideal for sweeping across the usual suspects of highlighting territory such as cheekbones, brow bone and down the centre of the nose. And, once you’ve had your fun with the stick (mind out the gutter gals), simply use your finger tips to blend the shimmer into a believable glow.

Better still, this product isn’t a one-shade-fits-all situation (as it shouldn’t ever be) and there are four tones to choose from: think Frosty Pink (light pink), Iced Bronze (mild golden), Baked (rich bronze) or Galactic (silver).

However, if you’re hankering for a Barry M Illumining Strobe of your very own, you’ll have to be quick about it: the cream stick has been selling out on ASOS all over the summer.
