Infographic helps you master the perfect make-up look

Make-up can be hard to get right. Sure, you're probably over the caking on the foundation, iridescent blue eyeshadow and brown lipstick phase (ah, the 90s), but we still need a little help at times.

Luckily, we've discovered a very handy infographic which shows exactly how to master simple make-up techniques.

Starting with eyebrows, you can choose which type suits you the best, according to the shape of your face. Next up you have a guide to teach you how to do highlighting and contouring.

Further down, there's help with choosing the right kind of blusher (pale skin=pink tones, medium skin=apricot, and dark skin=red/plum), as well as how to make the most of your eyes.

There are also useful tips on different eyeliner approaches, including the Winehouse - clearly a tribute to the late singer's penchant for thick black khol.

But perhaps one of the best tricks here are the simple steps to perfecting the smoky eye, a method that's valuable for any woman's make-up repertoire. Essentially, it requires five steps, three shades of eyeshadow and lots of blending.

Lastly, you can learn how to perfect your lipstick (hint, it's all in the lipliner) and also give yourself a manicure.

We don't know about you but we're printing this out and laminating it.
