Last month we announced the exciting news that Stylist magazine is building its first ever national beauty community, the Stylist Beauty Council, a place for women with a keen interest in beauty to share their opinions and thoughts on prescient beauty topics, test the latest products and attend tailor-made beauty events.

Today, we are announcing the launch of an entirely new set of beauty awards: Best Beauty by Stylist.

The aim of the awards is to help our readers find the most incredible products on the market today, and will be divided into categories including: hair, make-up, skin, nails and body.

We will be inviting 500 members of the Stylist Beauty Council to become judges for the awards and they will be also be joined by 50 expert judges hand selected from the beauty industry

Best Beauty by Stylist will let our readers know exactly what products and treatments they should be investing in.

Here's Stylist’s associate editor (beauty), Joanna McGarry, to tell you a little bit more about the awards...
