Lara Stone's beauty picks

Lara-Stone-Beauty.jpg

Who better placed to share their beauty secrets than the model of the moment? Here Lara Stone divulges her must-have beauty products, and her backstage beauty trick: “When you put foundation on, afterwards you should get some nice cream and rub it in your hands and pat them lightly over your face. It makes you look so much more natural and not too cakey.”

Tracie Martyn Facials

“I love facials by Tracie Martyn, she has a spa in New York and also makes products too. I leave her pot of Enzyme Exfoliant (available from Harrods) on as a mask, it makes my skin feel so fresh.”

Laura Mercier Concealer

“I don’t go anywhere without Laura Mercier’s Secret Camouflage concealer.”

Thick Moisturisers

“When I travel on planes, I use a richer, thicker kind of cream. I take Crème de la Mer The Moisturising Cream or Jurlique Calendula- Lavender Hydrating Essence, it’s good for red bits and dry bits.”

Berocca

“Right before we land, I always have an espresso and a Berocca. I can’t cope with a lack of sleep, I need at least 10 hours every night. I think four-hour overnight flights should be illegal.”

Shu Uemura Eyelash Curlers

“Over the years, I’ve learnt the importance of curling your lashes and I always put mascara on, just to look more awake. My eyes are quite deep set so it’s important.”
