Lush’s Halloween collection is here to soothe your gothic soul

When it comes to trends, it would be fair to say that 2017 has – so far – been the year of the unicorn.

After all, we’re a mere nine months in and we’ve already witnessed the birth of unicorn lattes, unicorn frappuccinos, baked unicorns and unicorn trainers, among other glittery creations.

Even high-end designers are getting in on the act. Just when we thought we’d seen it all, a pair of colour-changing Christian Louboutin unicorn heels came clomping all over our Instagram feeds.

But if you’ve been watching this fantastical, rainbow-coloured joy unfold with less than sparkle in your eyes, fear not: Lush’s new Halloween beauty collection is here, and it’s goth enough to soothe even the darkest of souls this autumn.

As any Lush fan (or ‘Lushie’) will know, the annual Halloween collection sees both the return of some of their much-loved, limited-edition items, as well as the arrival of a whole host of new products to see you into winter and beyond.

And their black sorcery is definitely a foil to the world of pastel-hued magic we’ve been surrounded by of late.

Slated to return this year are the Lord of Misrule shower cream and bath bombs, as well as the Goth Fairy shimmer bar and Pumpkin bath bomb, all of which went down a storm in 2016.

But what else can we expect for Halloween 2017? Read on and start deciding which products to add to your shopping basket – the whole collection is available to shop at the Oxford Circus store now and will be launching online 5 September, followed by stores across the UK on 18 September.
