MAC goes industrial

MarcelWandershero.jpg

Beauty experts MAC have teamed up with Dutch designer Marcel Wanders to produce a gorgeous range of products with a sleek, architectural design

The products include lipsticks, lip gloss, Sheer Mystery Powder and the solid perfume Air of Style Scent Concentrate.

It’s a combination that the Stylist beauty team love. Stylist's Beauty Director, Joanna McGarry, is a big fan; "Beauty collaborations (that is, big name beauty brand hooks up with zeitgeist-y fashion designer to launch new make-up range) are ten a penny these days so it’s refreshing to see a partnership that thinks outside the box. This particular coming together of minds does just that; innovative cosmetics brand Mac joins with the prolific architect and interior designer Marcel Wanders, from the Netherlands. The result? Simple, sophisticated, functional design in powder compact form. Aside from the refined powder foundation formula housed within, you’ll get your own little piece of modern design – a sleek, angular black case with a beautifully designed indententation within the powder itself, which, like all architectural feats, wears down over time."
