From Bellatrix plum to Hermione pink, fans are going crazy for this Harry Potter lipstick line

We're suckers for our favourite TV shows and films - just witness our passion for Friends, a mere 11 years after the last episode aired - so it stands to reason that make-up inspired by one of the biggest literary and screen phenomenons of our time is causing a big fuss.

Featuring shades inspired by the world of Harry Potter, Smitten Lip Tint Mousse by LASplash Cosmetics is a line of long-lasting liquid lipstick exciting fans of the boy wizard (and alliteration) - so much so that the website crashed shortly after the online world cottoned on.

Beauty bloggers and fans on Instagram have been posting shots of themselves trying out the 12 limited edition $14 tints, which include shades named Sirius, Love Good, Ravens Claw, Bellatrix and Ginny.

The turquoise pop of Severus and the deep, dark green of Nagini have been proving popular, while there's the sweet pink of Hermione for those fancying a more traditional lip (see below).
