Tanya Burr

We were recently joined for a lunchtime masterclass with Tanya Burr - make-up artist, beauty blogger and YouTube beauty guru.

Tanya has trained with and assisted some of the UK's top make-up artists and also worked for Laura Mercier and Clinique where she learned a lot about makeup, skincare and the industry.

She runs a highly successful YouTube channel delivering tutorials and beauty guidance to thousands of viewers every day.

Her channel attracts 3 million people a month looking for beauty tips, including a young audience who are hungry for advice on quality affordable products.

Tanya keeps up to speed with current trends and regularly attends and works behind the scenes at London Fashion Week. She says going to the shows is one of the best parts of her job as they are so inspiring and she cannot wait to get home and write up trend reports about the new hair, makeup and fashion looks.

Tanya also has a second channel on YouTube, where she uploads candid blogs and little updates on her life.

Click here to watch Tanya explain how to transform daytime make-up to a glamorous evening look in our exclusive video.

Tanya uses Nelsons Pure & Clear natural skincare range to prepare her skin before putting on make-up and to leave her skin the way nature intended, pure and clear. For more information, go to nelsonspureandclear.com. Or visit facebook.

This web chat has now finished but you can read all the questions posed to Tanya and her replies in the transcript below
