The jewellery that thinks it’s a lip balm

cutelipbalms.jpg

We love multi-tasking here at Stylist, so when we came across these adorable lip-balms-cum-accessories from natural beauty connoisseur Andrea Garland, we just had to share them with you.

Each pretty piece appears to be a vintage style piece of jewellery – but pop open the secret compartment, and inside you’ll find a small pot of 100% natural and handmade lip balm. It brings to mind the glee we felt at discovering a key inside our Magic Steps School Shoes (remember those?). Made from organic beeswax, softening shea butter, sun protecting Red Raspberry Seed Oil, chapped-skin champion Benzoin, anti-bacterial Grapefruit and healing Lavender, the lip balm also tastes as good as it looks.

ABOVE: Archimedes Brooch, £29.50; Le Renarde Ring, £34.00

BELOW: Shelley Necklace, £29.50; Molly Necklace, £28.00; Silkie Brooch, £26.00.

Whilst we're rather tempted to add all five to our jewellery box/dressing table, we're particularly partial to the mirrored Molly Necklace (an homage to our favourite eighties teen star, Molly Ringwald), and gold Le Renarde cocktail ring.

All pieces are available from andreagarland.co.uk
