Victoria Beckham unveils makeup collaboration with Estée Lauder

One of the most photographed women in the world, Victoria Beckham is rarely seen without her signature nude pout, dewy skin, and kohl-rimmed eyes.

And now the fashion designer is launching her own exclusive makeup range with Estée Lauder.

The 42-year-old unveiled a sneak-peek at it on Instagram yesterday – and it is, as you’d expect from one of the world’s most stylish women, incredibly chic.

Beckham has based the limited collection on her favourite cities (London, LA, New York and Paris, just in case you were wondering), opting for a glossy signature gold packaging.

The collection features multi-tasking skin products, such as matte bronzers, a highlighter, and Morning Aura, a moisturiser that vows to moisturise, tighten, lift, act as a primer, and give a “really great glow”.

However the collection also features bold, textured, and colourful lip and eye items; think metal-finish shadows, orangey-red lipsticks, and a thick and sooty liner.

Take your first look at the collection below:

Speaking about the range, Beckham told WWD.com that she wanted products which people could immediately associate with her, “whether it’s a smoky eye, a nude lip, or dewy skin.”

She continued: “So I’ve been very honest, very true to myself… all looks are very me, whether it’s what I’d wear during the day, evening, or for editorial purposes. It’s making it very, very easy for the customer.

“I’m not a professional makeup artist. I’m not a model. I don’t have hours to follow instructions. I’m a busy working mum, and I think there are lots of women in my position, and I just want it made easy for them.”

To prove just how simple her products are to use, Beckham shared a video of herself applying her very own smoky eye look.

The 30 second clip shows her creating “the London look, which is a smoky, dark, quite sexy eye and what I like with dark eyes is to go paler with the lip.”

Beckham can be seen using a selection of shadows and a kohl liner in her waterline, resulting in the iconic ‘Posh Spice’ eye look, before using a highlighter to give herself a “healthy glow”.

She finishes by dabbing an illuminating cream along her nose, cupid’s bow, and cheekbones.

“'It hydrates, moisturises and tightens; who doesn't love that?” she tells the camera.

Check it out for yourself below:

The former Spice Girl captioned the video: “Excited to share my tips and secrets with you ladies! My first make up collection lands in stores next month x vb”

Meanwhile Jane Hertzmark Hudis, group president of Estée Lauder Companies, said: 'We are excited to join forces and bring Victoria’s take on beauty to her many fans around the world.

“Victoria is an entrepreneur in the true spirit of our founder, Estée Lauder, with a real understanding of what women want, and a commitment to making women look and feel their most beautiful.

“Victoria has a passion for beauty and we are delighted to welcome her into our brand.”

The Victoria Beckham Estée Lauder collection is priced from £23.19 for a nude lip pencil, to over £900 for the Victoria Beckham Collection Daylight Edition, a light box that includes a light-up mirror, as well as eight products.

It will debut in the UK and the US on 13 September.
