A 30-year old dog trainer from Texas has spent £15,000 ($25,000) on plastic surgery in a bid to make her look more like Jennifer Lawrence.

The woman, who was only identified as Kitty, had been told that she already resembled the Hunger Games star, so wanted to make her look even more complete.

Kitty went under the knife six separate times for procedures that included liposuction to her face and body, a breast augmentation, rhinoplasty and fat grafts to her cheeks and buttocks.

Despite the fact that Kitty's husband Eric didn't think that she needed the operation, she did say that she believes it will improve their sex life.

In the end she spent six hours in the operating room and was happy about the results, even if she said she felt like she's been "run over by a truck".

After the operation, she was asked if she thought the surgery was worth the time and money, to which she replied that it had been and that the money she had spent was saved from a previous job, and was her "me" fund.

She also said: "I'm not trying to look like Pamela Anderson here during her 'Baywatch' days. I'm trying to look like a very capable, very personal level-headed female who is an Academy Award winner.

"I am a strong woman. I am in charge of how I look and I can change that and then change that again if I want."
