Book fans re-create favourite covers using their own faces and bodies

hero.jpg

People are really clever, aren't they?

Case in point: these photos of people who have recreated their favourite covers using their own faces and bodies.

Emily Pullen is the creator behind the craze and has curated a collection of images for her blog Corpus Libris, or in English, 'Body Books' (thanks to Google Translate for that one).

Pullen lives and works in LA at a book shop and originally began the site as a small project "as a fun little photo essay on a Thursday night while working at Skylight Books in Los Angeles".

But, she says, seeing as it became so popular, she decided to open it out to everyone else and now you can send in your own, and she might even publish them.

Below we've picked out some of the best examples of what readers have sent in to her. There's even an amazing Ryan Gosling one, which we obviously had to share with you.

Our favourite one though is the third one down, with a man who has managed to blend in the whole of the book to himself and the background. Now that's dedication to the cause.

If you're a lover of making people do a double take, you're probably also aware of the brilliant sleeveface.com, whereby you take an album cover and try to make it look like it's your face.

If you've got any examples of this why not send us a shot of you and your book to @StylistMagazine
