If you like your films with riding crops, you’re in luck.

Yep, Fifty Shades fans, the “climactic final chapter” is very nearly upon us and the teaser trailer confirms that Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele are back and they’re getting hitched – probably ahead of a kinky honeymoon full of bondage and power play.

A newly released teaser trailer for Fifty Shades Freed, the final instalment of the Hollywood trilogy based on EL James’ famed books, dropped on Twitter over the weekend (10 September).

And in it, viewers see Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson reprise their roles as Grey and Steele, respectively.

Watch the one-minute clip below.

So, what do we now know?

Well, there’s a wedding, a riding crop and what appears to be a sprinkling of James Bond-esque shenanigans involving posh cars, jet skis, shirtless sea moments and guns.

Oh, and a knife-to-the-throat moment, which could indicate this is the darkest Fifty Shades film outing yet.

James Foley, who directed the second film, Fifty Shades Darker (the first, Fifty Shades of Grey, was directed by Sam Taylor-Johnson) is back in the director’s seat, and fans can see the film on Valentine’s Day.
