Make your own illustrated Christmas paper chains

Download, cut out and create at home

Complement your traditional tinsel with these exclusive paper chains by illustrator Alicia Malesani

Step-by-step guide:

Step 1: Click and download the image below, and print out 30 templates

Step 2: Cut out each chain along the dashed line.

Step 3: Sellotape or staple the ends of one piece together to form a loop.

Step 4: Thread the next strip of paper through your loop. Again, secure the ends together.

Step 5: Continue until you have reached your desired length.

Step 6: Hang your festive decor from your ceilings and mantelpieces.
