Ash’s wedge trainers are back

Of all the shoe trends to go stellar, we never thought the high top wedge trainer would be it.

But, thanks to Isabel Marant’s Willow and Betty trainers (which were seen on pretty much every fashionista’s feet during London Fashion Week), this comfortable sport-shoe hybrid has become the piece of footwear to add a casual cool lift to your Spring look.

For those who shrink at the thought of stumping up £400 for a pair of trainers, Ash do a far more affordable take on the trend – which have been so popular, their Bonie and Cool styles have been reordered five times on the website.

But now Ash have answered the desperate plea for more affordable high-tops, with a brand new limited edition range of pastel coloured styles, which go online on Sunday 1 April.

So banish all memories of the Spice Girls sporting Buffalo platform trainers, and take a look at this cool new collection - we love the Spring-like sugary hues, and think they would look great with pale coloured jeans (very leg-lengthening).

The trainers cost £149 from ashfootwear.co.uk and are available for a limited time only – so be quick if you want a pair!
