Bags that look like animals

It's the trend that could melt the hearts of even the most stony-faced fashion insiders. The latest 'it' bags have wide beady eyes and fabric which replicate a cuddly toy's.

Leading the way is Italian luxury house Fendi which initially created small furry charms with names (Snobius, Nutty and Lucifer to name a few) and personalities for the autumn/winter 2013 runway. Their debut was so successful, the scary yet adorable faces made their way onto the brand's signature baguette bags and 2Jours shoppers creating an entire bug bag collection.

Elsewhere, Lulu Guinness has switched its lip motif for eyes in its Wild Cat collection and Ashley Williams' next season sea-life clutches have already been spotted on Pixie Geldof three times. Whether you're internally screaming, "I WANT ONE" or would rather observe the trend from afar, here is the coolest gallery of bags we've ever made...
