Beautiful book clutches

book-clutch-hero.jpg

We're a sucker for all things-literary at Stylist, so when we stumbled across these bookish clutches from Olympia Le Tan, our hearts may have melted a little.

Handmade in Paris, each canvas book bag comes embroidered with covers of some of our favourite literary classics, from Nabakov's Lolita to A Streetcar Named Desire.

If you've got a particularly well-read friend with a birthday coming up, you can even send sweet 'felt ticket' which acts as a voucher for a clutch ( although at 1140 euros each, they'd have to be a real bookworm!).

We're dreaming of snapping one up and wearing it with pride to our next book club meeting - because who says you shouldn't judge a clutch by its cover?

If you're a fan of Olympia's quirky carry-alls, the label also has a line of milk carton duffel bags, ipad cases embroidered with children's books, and travel wallets. We're adding all of them to our wish-list. For a closer look, check out olympialetan.com.
