Best autumn sample sales

Love the idea of designer shopping at a discount? Us too, which is why we’re excited that October is all about sample sales. From jewellery and interiors to lingerie and shoes, here are the best the month has to offer

Stephen Webster

With a clientele as starry as his creations (Kate Moss adores his designs) it is little wonder Stephen Webster’s sample sales are strictly private affairs. But this month for the first time Stylist.co.uk readers can buy his gorgeous gems as a serious discount. There will be up to 70% off diamond encrusted cuffs, delicate earrings and chunky rings.

Details: 13 – 14 October 2010; No. 8 Grafton Street, London, W1S 4EL; email mountstreet@stephenwebster.com quoting ‘Stylist Website’ to reserve your place.

La Perla

We all know it’s what is underneath that counts. And with up to 70% off La Perla’s lingerie, you can have an underwear draw to-die-for. But there’s more than beautiful bras on sale; browse swimwear, nightwear and hosiery from the SS10 and AW10 collections, including a Black Label satin corset with feather detail reduced from £360 to £151.13.

Details: 18 - 19 October 2010; Hornvale Ltd, 22 Newman Street , London , W1T 1PH; laperla.com

London Accessory Sale

It’s all about the adornments at this sample sale, with a selection of shoes, jewellery, belts and bags on offer. Designers include Balenciaga, YSL, Burberry, Gucci, Marc Jacobs and Jimmy Choo, and prices have been slashed by up to 80%. But be quick, the sale ends Sunday.

Details: 7- 10 October 2010; 85 Brick Lane, London, E1 6QL; londonaccessorysale.co.uk

Heals

The last sample sale of the year (the next won’t be until March 2011) you’ll have to be quick to snap up some of the UK’s best interior design pieces. The last sale included Matthew Hilton curvaceous Balzac chairs and key pieces from Orla Kiely’s retro collection. Prices will be reduced by as much as 70%.

Details: 30 October 2010; Heal’s Distribution Centre, 10 Ardra Road, Edmonton, London N9 OBD; heals.co.uk

Sample Hunters

Dying for a touch of designer? This sample sale is growing in popularity, thanks to pieces from Vivienne Westwood, Marc Jacobs, Chloe, Christopher Kane, Miu Miu on sale with up to 80% reductions.

Details: 21 – 24 October 2010; The Old Truman Brewery, Shop 14, 15 Hanbury Street, London, E1 6QR; samplehunters.co.uk
