How to buy Reese Witherspoon’s fashion line in the UK

How often do you read through a whole article of hype about an incredible new cosmetics line or clothing range, only to get to the end and realise it’s not available in the UK? Unless you’re happy to sign up to mind-numbing eBay trawls or extortionate international delivery fees, of course.

But UK fans of Draper James need worry no more, as Reese Witherspoon’s country-chic label is now being sold through net-a-porter.com.

The range is inspired by the “charm and grace” of the American South – think less fashion-forward and more sweet gingham, cheerful prints and retro shapes – and the website currently has a capsule collection of 18 pieces priced from £182 to £446.

Witherspoon, 41, says of the label: “I started this company to honour my Southern heritage and in particular my grandparents who were, and still are, the greatest influences in my life: my grandmother, Dorothea Draper and my grandfather, William James Witherspoon.

“My grandparents taught me everything I know about gracious Southern living. From them I learned to dress and act like a lady, to take pride in my home, to reach out to help a neighbour, and to always invite everyone in for a visit […]

“Whether it’s Nashville or New Orleans, Beaufort or Birmingham, there is a special breed of charm and grace that’s signature to the American South. We’re proud to say that over 40% of our products are made in the United States […] Our goal is to bring contemporary, yet timeless Southern style to your wardrobe.”
