"It scares me" - Cara Delevingne hits back at paparazzi

Model Cara Delevingne took to Twitter late yesterday to vent her frustration at the paparazzi.

In her rant, she said that she thought it was "disgusting that Paris is the only place where it is illegal for paps to follow you around".

She also mentioned Princess Diana in her tweets, pointing to the fact that it took the death of someone, who was at the time being hounded by photographers, for Paris to take action.

She continued: "It scares me because they act like they're assassins."

In another message, the 21-year-old asked what it would take for London to finally take notice and make it illegal too.

Finally, she added: "I actually used to feel so sorry for them, how boring it must be to follow people around all the time but some of them actually enjoy it"

The last few days have seen Delevingne pictured with actress Michelle Rodriguez, first on their holiday and then returning from their trip, where clearly neither of them are posing for photographs.

Currently there are no rules against photographing celebrities in the UK, however, Sienna Miller, Amy Winehouse and Lily Allen all won injunctions to prevent the paparazzi from following them and gathering outside their houses.

Over in the US, both Miley Cyrus and Justin Bieber have voiced concerns over the paparazzi's behaviour. Last year, a photographer was run over as he attempted to take a shot of Bieber's ferrari. Chris Guerra was struck by a passing vehicle near the Getty Center Drive in Los Angeles after crossing a busy highway.
