CFDA Awards, New York

Fashion's finest were out in force last night (6 June) in New York for this year's Council Of Fashion Designers Of America (CFDA) Awards, which recognise the outstanding contributions made to American fashion by individuals from all areas of the industry.

A vamped-up Lady Gaga (complete with bright green wig) jostled for elbow space on the purple carpet next to movie stars including Kirsten Dunst and Naomi Watts, and actors-turned-designers such as the Olsen twins and Chloe Sevigny.
