Charlotte Olympia has teamed up with Barbie for a kitsch-cool collection

Calling all Barbie-lovers, and fans of Charlotte Olympia's ladylike accessories. The iconic doll-maker and cult accessories brand have teamed up to create a 50s-themed capsule collection of shoes and handbags, as well as a Barbie doll in Olympia's likeness.

The Charlotte Olympia Barbie sports an old Hollywood style bob, a leopard two-piece and complementing mid-century style scarlet pumps, and a matching bag and gloves. She also has more of Olympia's signature accessories to hand - from a spiderweb box hat, to the iconic kitty flats, and a banana bag. As well the brand's mascot, Bruce the leopard, at her side.

We might not be able to steal the doll's style, but luckily there's the capsule accessories collection in real-life sizes. The kitsch-cool shoes and clutches include a marabou-feather embellished peep-toe sandals with Barbie's face on them, a jazzed up 'Pretty in Pink' version of the Kitty flat, and a clutch topped with magnetic versions of Barbie's dressing room furniture.

Creative Director Charlotte Olympia Dellal comments: "This was a childhood dream come true to collaborate with Barbie! It was a fantastic opportunity to be able to design and create a Charlotte Olympia aesthetic for one of the most iconic figures in the world."

While Robert Best, Senior Designer at Barbie calls it a "perfect collaboration."

Check out the full collection in the gallery above. You can shop the collaboration at charlotteolympia.com, netaporter.com and barbiecollection.com, now.
