Is this the ultimate go-anywhere dress?

Taking your look from day to night and from summer to winter is set to get a whole lot easier thanks to a new dress from designer label Goat, a favourite of jet-setter Victoria Beckham.

Featuring three-quarter-length sleeves and an easy-wear A-line shape, Goat’s new Lola Library dress is available from my-wardrobe.com in two hot colours - peppermint green (exclusive to my-wardrobe.com) and cobalt blue - and, as it’s easily accessorised, aims to offer women limitless wardrobe options. Pair it with ballerinas, tights and a tote for work; switch to heels and a statement necklace for evening; or wear it at the weekends with sandals or biker boots.

The £395 price tag may make Goat's dress a pay-day purchase, but a chic investment piece in a classic style that can be worn pretty much anytime and almost anywhere has us wondering – in these times of austerity, is this perhaps the future of fashion?
