Fashion and music have long looked to each other for inspiration, whether it’s a lyric, supermodel-stuffed video or a meat-covered dress (we’re nodding at you, Gaga). Now there's the news of Diesel’s collaboration for ss11 with electro pop artist Uffie - whose recent single ‘ADD SUV’ features hip hop superstar Pharrell Williams
Featuring 12 exclusive designs, the leather and denim collection, entitled ‘DIESEL + Uffie’, fuses the Paris-based songstress’s lyrical cool with the Italian label’s edgy DNA to create a line of t-shirts and tops, sitting alongside hardware leather jackets and jumpsuits. Diesel’s iconic d-Pocket jeans have been given a makeover too, with new washes for the capsule collection.
In stores now, the only problem we’ll have is deciding which piece to buy. But with prices starting at £50, we can’t see that being an issue. And fortunately, there's not an offal frock in sight.
