Designer emoji footwear has arrived (and there's a hashtag clutch too)

Known for its bright colourways, unique designs and whimsical touches (not least of all a recent collaboration with Barbie), accessories label Charlotte Olympia has once again found fashion inspiration in an unusual place – this time, looking to the contents of our phones.

Specifically, the latest capsule collection of ballet flats uses our beloved emoji as its muse.

Titled #Emoticats, the range is a playful spin on the label's usual Kitty footwear, with three embroidered velvet designs – #lolkitty, #cheekykitty, and #flirtykitty – coming in a range of colours, as well as two clutch bags.

Turns out it's not cheap to let your feet do the talking – available on uk.charlotteolympia.com and harrods.com, prices start from £395 – but my, they are cute.

Click through our gallery below to see the full range.
