Fashion people as Simpsons

We brought you Spongebob Squarepants and his fashion makeover, but now there's a new cartoon posse emulating the in-crowd.

Artist and illustrator aleXsandro Palombo has turned icons of the fashion world into loveable yellow-hued cartoon characters The Simpsons, from a Homer-esque Karl Lagerfeld, to an angry Anna Wintour with trademark dark glasses and bob. Anna's right-hand woman Grace Coddington also gets the cartoon treatment, along with two legendary British fashion critics - Hilary Alexander and Suzy Menkes of the International Herald Tribune. Just imagine them all squeezed on The Simpsons sofa!

Scroll down to take a look at the drawings in closer detail. We think you'll agree that the likenesses are uncanny - now all we need is for Matt Groening to cotton on and create a spin-off fashion spectacular. Perhaps 'The Simpsons go to Fashion Week' would make a good episode?
