See inside Swarovski's Crystal Wonderland party at Milan Fashion Week

Milan Fashion Week kicked off in true, glimante-clad style this week, as Swarovski hosted its Crystal Wonderland Party near the Italian city of chic.

Some of the world’s hottest modelling talent – including Jourdan Dunn, Karlie Kloss and Naomi Campbell – rubbed shoulders at the event, which was held at a 15th Century villa in the heart of the Milanese countryside (where else?).

Dunn, Kloss and Campbell are all ambassadors for Swarovski’s Holiday campaign, along with an impressive line-up of famous faces that includes Chiara Ferragni, Maye Musk and Boy George.

Such a decadent set-up calls for a seriously statement gown, and happily, the guests rose to the occasion.

Meanwhile, Campbell (above) – who remains one of the industry’s most in-demand models more than 30 years into her career – chose a ravishing black gown by Azzedine Alaia.

She joined other guests in being treated to a series of musical performances from stars including award-winning Lithuanian violinist Saulė Kilaitė and Italian opera maestro Andrea Bocelli.

Another Swarovski face, pop icon Boy George (above), dusted off his starry pink bowler for the occasion and performed a DJ set – much to the delight of fellow party-goers.

Guests at Swarovski’s show-stopping shindig included Brazilian model Alessandra Ambrosio (above), who worked SS18’s trend for fierce feline flicks with panache.

All in all, a dazzling start as the Milan collections gain pace this weekend…
