Father ‘Fabulous’ Christmas; see Santa get dressed up in an array of designer outfits

5.jpg

Father Christmas is instantly recognisable. And it's not just because of his big white beard and long white hair. His red suit and big black boots are just as significant a part of his look.

But we can't imagine he likes to wear the same clothes all the time. In fact, he'd probably like a bit of a change, at least when he's not delivering presents.

So what would he wear when he's on a bit of downtime? Luckily  for us creative company Joint has imagine him in an array of designer outfits - so we can see exactly what Santa would look like if he wasn't wearing his usual getup (because why not?).

The series of illustrations show St Nick in the likes of Alexander Wang's classic grungy look, as well as Saint Laurent's signature black leather jacket aesthetic. Santa's even wearing a flamboyant Kenzo outfit, with a hot pink coat, t-shirt and shorts, all topped off with a snap back cap - not exactly the best attire for the North Pole!

Other designers include Marni, Maison Martin Margiela, and Acne Studios, which you can see below. You can watch all of his transformations here too.

But the best bit is that you can even download the images on a PDF (if you pay with a tweet, details here), so you can have fabulous and fashion-y Christmas cards.
