David Beckham has been immortalised in silver to celebrate his new H&M Bodywear collection.

Created by H&M in celebration of the second David Beckham Bodywear range, nine 10-foot-high silver statues of the footballer have been unveiled in a number of locations across America, including New York, San Francisco and David’s adopted home city, Los Angeles.

The silver Beckham statues show the footballer stripped down to just his, erm, kit, mimicking a shot from the latest Bodywear campaign photographed by top fashion photographer Alasdair McLellan (see pictures below), and according to WWD, anyone who Instagrams a photo of a David Beckham statue using the hashtag #HMBeckham will be eligible for a prize. If it’s a date with Becks (or even one of his Bodaywear photos, we’re not fussed), surely that would be worth getting on a plane for?
