Forget the horse racing - hats are where it's at for Royal Ascot. Any fashionista worth her weight in millinery knows a show-stopping and suitably kooky hat is the only way to ensure you stand out from the thousands of well-heeled race-goers who flock to the annual event every year. And with the organisers making sure that everyone was suitably attired this year, Ascot 2012 did not disappoint, with the most eccentric and flamboyant selection of hats on display yet.
