Inside the Valentino: Master of Couture Exhibition

Valentino: Master of Couture opens at Somerset House tomorrow (29 November), and we've got images from the press preview to show you.

Following on from the Tim Walker fashion photography exhibition at the same venue, comes this ode to the Italian master of haute couture, a red carpet favourite who created designs for Jackie Kennedy Onassis, Grace Kelly, Sophia Loren and Gwyneth Paltrow.

BELOW: An orange satin poncho from 1969 worn by Grace Kelly

130 of Valentino's designs will be on display, from the gowns in his signature red hue, to red carpet creations and show-stopping pieces like this wedding dress, worn by Princess Marie-Chantal of Greece in 1995 (below).
