Jennifer Aniston reveals the fashion items she kept from Friends

Rachel-Green-copy1.jpg

There's no doubt that Jennifer Aniston, aka Rachel Green from Friends, was one of the reigning fashion queens of the nineties.

With her cute crop tops, black chokers and penchant for a slogan sweater, not to mention that signature 'Rachel' hair cut, she was the epitome of nineties cool. You even voted for her as your Friends fashion spirit animal, with almost 70% of our audience choosing Rachel over her co-stars Phoebe Buffay and Monica Gellar.

Now, over two decades since she first appeared on our screens as a bedraggled runaway bride in the pilot episode of the hit series, Jennifer Aniston has revealed exactly which fashion items she chose to keep from her time playing Rachel.

Speaking to Vogue, the star confided she had kept hold of a pair of high waisted jeans, as well as some red squared-toe loafers.

Discussing the renewed trend for nineties fashion, she said, "The ’90s are coming back!? Why are they coming back, that’s mean. I’m just kidding. That’s really good because I have certain things I have yet to throw away from my days on Friends."

"My red squared-toe loafers might actually be making a comeback, that’s awesome. I also have those nice high-waisted jeans," she said.

"I’m so glad I didn’t throw any of those out. I loved the ’90s."
