Jennifer Lawrence, Emma Watson and other stars out in force for Dior’s Haute Couture show in Paris

We all know Jennifer Lawrence is game for a laugh and now she's found a new partner-in-crime in the form of Harry Potter star Emma Watson.

The two actresses were spotted fooling around together at Dior’s Haute Couture show in Paris last night. While other guests at the star-studded event - including Anna Wintour, Charlize Theron and Marion Cotillard - posed demurely for the cameras, J-Law brought the tone down in true style by face-palming her fellow Hollywood A-Lister.

The Hunger Games actress is no stranger to fooling around around on the red carpet and it's one of the reasons we love her so much. When she's not busy accidentally tripping up at the Oscars (twice, no less - with this being our favourite moment), she's joking with reporters or trying to grapple Lupita Nyong’o's Academy Award from her after she lost out to the 12 Years A Slave star in the best supporting actress category earlier this year.

We didn't know that J-Law and Emma were friends, but the fact that they hit it off last night makes a lot of sense. Not only are they close in age (Jennifer is 23 years old and Emma 24), they both count among Hollywood's most marketable stars (Jennifer has a net worth of £15 million and Emma £35 million) who made fame and fortune on the back of major commercial franchises (Hunger Games and Harry Potter).

They've also both branched out into more unusual and independent films in recent years, giving their CVs a little more breadth and scope (think The Perks Of Being A Wallflower for Emma and The Silver Linings Playbook for Jen).

Naturally, both ladies wore Dior at last night's event - Jen wore a white Dior top, skirt, shoes and clutch, with Emma in a sculptured Dior Haute Couture dress. They were joined on the front row by Sidney Toledano, the CEO of Dior.

Other Oscar winners on the front row for Dior’s Paris Fashion Week Haute Couture AW 14/15 show included Charlize Theron and her man of the moment, Sean Penn.

The 38-year-old actress and her 53-year-old actor-director boyfriend were pictured cosying up as they watched the show get underway.

Marion Cotillard was yet another name to add to the clutch of Oscar-winners in attendance at the show last night. She wore a chic black dress by Dior.

And of course, no major fashion show in Paris would be complete without Anna Wintour and Grace Coddington. The US Vogue duo made notes as the models paraded their Haute Couture designs.

Earlier on in the evening, J-Law, Emma Watson and Bond actress Rosamund Pike posed outside the event to showcase their gorgeous Dior outfits. Socialite Olivia Palermo, who has just tied the knot with husband Johannes Huebl in New York (wearing a cashmere sweater and shorts), also put in an appearance.

Come take a look at rest of the photos, from last night's event, below.
