Jennifer Lawrence's Style Transformation

When Jennifer Lawrence was cast as Katniss Everdeen in blockbuster film the Hunger Games, back in 2012, we were inundated with glamourous red carpet pictures. Wearing everything from Jason Wu to Valentino, the fashion world was in awe.

However, by her own admission, styling doesn't come naturally to the star. The self-deprecating Lawrence once told E! :"I really would not call myself a fashion icon. I would call myself somebody who gets dressed by professionals. [It's like], 'Dance, monkey, dance' right on the red carpet.' I would call me more of a monkey."

Coupled with her hiring of celebrity stylist Rachel Zoe and a campaign with Christian Dior, it wasn't long before we were introduced to the effortless red carpet icon we all know today.

In 2013 she cut her long flowing hair into a daring pixie crop– pulling it off perfectly we might add- and even had a rumoured romance with Silver Linings Playbook co-star actor Bradley Cooper which undoubtedly left us all feeling a little bit jealous.

Although it’s definitely moments like watching her get star struck whilst meeting icon Jack Nicholson, that just made us love her and her ever-changing style even more.
