Jennifer Lopez's style evolution

Since her first lead role in the 1996 biopic Selena, Jennifer Lopez has enchanted the public. The multitalented star sings, acts and dances and has a private life that's fuelled thousands of column inches. 

And, of course, when it comes to her red carpet appearances JLo knows how to make an impact. Since the early days of her career, she's always had a distinctive taste of style.

Yes, like most of us, she had her 'creative' moments, some of which worked while others didn't. But as time has gone on she has honed her wardrobe-  opting for fitted, floor length, elegant dresses - without compromising her inimitable style, and now she rarely hits a dud note.  

So let's take a look back at the evolution of JLo's look, from 1997 to now.
