Kim Kardashian and Kanye West get Simpsonised

In the world of celebrity, what's the ultimate compliment? Is it getting a custom-made Givenchy gown created for you and your child on your wedding day? Or perhaps it's having one of the world's biggest rappers write a song about you? Or maybe, just maybe, it's when you end up getting Simpsonised.

That's exactly what's just happened to Kim Kardashian, who can be seen in a new bit of artwork in a similar fashion to one of the recognisable iconic yellow cartoon characters.

The picture sees Kim posing in a white swimming costume - the now infamous picture that prompted people (i.e. the Internet) to start using the world 'Belfie'. Kim is also joined by her new husband Kanye West who adopts the same position.

While it wasn't designed by The Simpson's illustrator, Matt Groening, artist Alexsandro Palombo has got the style spot on with his Simpsonised version of the reality TV star.

Over the years there have been many other celebrities who have been turned into Simpsons characters, including Michelle Obama, Aaron Paul and Bryan Cranston, Rafa Nadal, and Stephen Hawkings.

But perhaps one of the most memorable Simpsonification (NEW WORD KLAXON) of recent times is the viral Oscars selfie that included Ellen Degeneres, Brad Pitt, Lupita Nyong'0, Bradley Cooper and Angelina Jolie. However in the cartoon version, Homer is seen getting kicked out of the picture.
