Stella McCartney's eveningwear presentation last night was Saturday's hot ticket and will go down in fashion show history as a fashion phenomenon. Rihanna, Kate Moss and Anna Wintour sat on a table with Stella, Juergen Teller and Jamie Hince while other guests drank cocktails on the balcony.
Rumours that something big would happen came true when Hans Klok performed a magic show where a hypnotised Alexa Chung levitated over a trio of swords and Stella was showered with playing cards.
Then a scream rang out - models jumped up from the tables into a fashion flashmob carrying chairs around the room while supermodels Shalom Harlow and Amber Valletta danced on tables - all dressed in slinky eveningwear, watercolour prints and sharp tailoring that is Stella's eveningwear signature and makes her collection so popular.
