Would you spend £12 on some designer sticks?

As well as dominating the acting industry, twins Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen have also become multi-millionaires with their very high-end fashion brand The Row.

So considering that in the past they've sold a rucksack for £34,000, it's no surprise that as part of their new Christmas gift guide, The Row are selling some smudging sticks that, according to the Guardian are being sold for £12 ($20).

So what exactly is smudging? Well, dear reader, it's a selection of bound herbs, usually consisting of sage and rosemary, which when burned are said to rid your house, or any area you've chosen, of negative energy.

And because The Row cares about that kind of thing they've rather thoughtfully added this to their line of accessories available this Christmas, which are available from their Melrose Place store The fashion house is offering up its own version called the Palo Santo Smudge Stick Bundles, to help you feel positive vibes in your abode this festive period.

We'll probably stick to the joss sticks then.
