If you loved Mary Katrantzou's previous collections for Topshop as much as we did, you'll be excited to know that the Greek-born designer is back with a new wider range for spring.
Inspired by the idea of layering and combining prints and fabrics as seen on Katrantzou's catwalk, this collection brings the designer's iconic designs onto the high street for our pleasure - and yours.
There couldn't be a capsule collection without Mary's trademark porcelain bowl-inspired skirted party dresses and tailored trousers in luxurious silk and satin, but the collaboration also features easy-to-wear pieces such as leggings, T-shirts and tunic dresses.
“It's very exciting to work with Topshop for our third range together” said Katrantzou.
“They've been so supportive of my work from the very beginning and this range will be the most ambitious one we've done and the most fun! My idea behind the collaboration was to design for the Topshop girl a range that is as close to the aesthetic of my mainline as possible, with great control over the quality of design and production. I can't wait to see the Topshop girls in the bowl dresses and for the most daring to see them try the print on print layering!”
With items ranging from £40 to £350, the pieces are far from typical high street prices, but there's no doubt fashion lovers around the UK will queue up hoping to get their hands on the coveted pieces. The question is, will you?
The collection will be available in Topshop stores around the UK on Febrary, 17.
