Meet the fashion pugs

Forget Chihauhaus - Pugs are the quintessential fashion hound. Valentino is a famous pug-lover, Brix Smith-Start's two cute pups are rarely seen off the frow, and we even had our own pug dog-blogging for us one London Fashion Week.

Now, the wrinkled pooch is further cementing its status as the coolest canine around, with Luisa Via Roma's adorable toy pug charity collection.

The luxury online boutique asked 21 designers to dress Steiff toy dogs in their own mini-versions of canine couture - and the entire collection will be auctioned off on Ebay, with all proceeds from their sale donated to UNICEF.

Want to bid on a designer dog and help the street children of Bangladesh? Bidding starts now and runs until 6 May here. In the meantime, check out our favourites from the designer dog collection below.
