Australian supermodel Miranda Kerr has been announced as the new face of Mango’s Spring/Summer 2013 campaign and an ambassador for the Spanish label, replacing Kate Moss.

Beginning modelling at the age of just 13, Miranda has also been the face of Maybelline and Levi’s, but gained worldwide recognition when she became an Angel for Victoria’s Secret in 2006. Her chic off-duty model style and several star turns on the red carpet have further elevated her to supermodel status.

The campaign, which was shot in mid-November by Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin, hasn’t been fully revealed yet, but these preview pictures show the model posing in a cropped blazer and striped jeans.

Miranda said that she was “delighted to be collaborating with MANGO for the Spring/Summer 2013 season...MANGO is a brand that I love. You always find the perfect garment for every occasion!”

Kerr joins a prestigious line-up of former Mango campaign girls, from Scarlett Johansson, Penélope Cruz, and Milla Jovovich, to Claudia Schiffer, Christy Turlington and Diane Kruger.
