This is the most pinned bridesmaid dress in the world

istock bridesmaids.jpg

The world’s most popular wedding dress (a strappy boho design by a little-known Australian bridal label) was recently made public when Pinterest revealed that it had been pinned more than 2.5 million times.

And now the picture-sharing site has decided to shift the focus to bridesmaid dresses.

Gone are the days of lurid pink tiered netting, puffy sleeves, and unnecessary frills. Nowadays brides are searching for a far more simple and (dare we say it?) stylish alternative for the most special women in their life.

Even better, the world’s most-pinned frock costs around £120 – which is pretty reasonable, so long as the bridesmaids aren’t expected to fork out for it themselves.

Here it is:

The flowing floor-length gown, seen here on the model in the middle, has been pinned over 170,000 times, is a Camille La Vie number – and it features a lace illusion neckline, criss-cross pleated bodice, and full chiffon skirt.

“All they’ll need to finish the look is a pair of high heels and a bold bracelet,” the website explains.

It comes in a wide variety of colours, including black, cranberry, blush, wine, royal blue, coral, and navy – which means brides can easily find one to suit their colour scheme.

However the baby-pink hue remains the most popular version of the frock.

While it is intended for use as a bridesmaid dress, you could easily don this dress for any formal occasion – although don’t blame us if hundreds of others rock up in the same outfit.

You can buy the 'Lace Illusion Neckline Dress' from USA-based online store Camille La Vie for around £120, plus postage and packaging
