Mulberry release ‘Harriet’ bag

Mulberry have become a fashion heavyweight when it comes to cult accessories, and images of their new ‘Harriet’ bag show they still have the magic touch

Following in the footsteps of the iconic Bayswater and Alexa designs, the Harriet bag has been designed with the typical city-girl in mind. It has all the classic Mulberry signatures – from luxury leathers to nifty gold chain detailing. With Blake Lively and Olivia Palermo already big fans, the bag is set to hit stores in January 2012.

Earlier this month the label reported that its sales were up by 44% - bucking the recession faced by other ailing fashion brands. Its creative director, Emma Hill, took the reigns back in 2008 and was the person behind the brand's youthful reinvention.
