Nail the sales: the best discounts and bargains still available until January

Boxing Day may now by synonymous with crowds queueing outside high street stores through the night, but the sales don't have to be a test of your ability to lower your tolerance of people invading your personal space.

The myth may be that the biggest bargains disappear on Boxing Day but many stores still have discounts, and online, there are still hundreds of deals to be won. Debenhams, for instance has lowered some of its discounts from 50% to 70% since Boxing Day.

Most high street stores are offering up to 50% on their autumn/winter lines, meaning many of this season's biggest trends including sports luxe, white and dresses with sleeves are available at discount price.

So whether you're looking for a dress for New Year's Eve, or an investment for the New Year, we've rounded up the best discounts and picked out some of our favourite fashion items available. Scroll down to discover some of the best bargains, or have a look at our gallery for inspiration.
