Does watching Scandal make you despair over your dull office attire? All is not lost, as a line inspired by Kerry Washington's character Olivia Pope is to go on sale.

American high street store The Limited have teamed up with Scandal's head costume designer Lyn Paolo to create a collection of Pope-worthy clothes to go on sale for autumn/winter 2014.

But best of all, The Limited ship to the UK, so while it will cost you a little more to get your hands on the clothes, it can be done.

The Limited’s head of design Elliot Staples, said the collection was “a nod to our devoted fans, to fans of fashion and to women everywhere who are inspired to boldly pursue their passions and look good while doing it.” Kerry Washington is expected to contribute to the line, offering ideas on how Olivia would style items, as she does on set.

It will include 42 items, covering everything from trousers to outerwear, so whether it's Olivia's trench coats, or her blouses that you desire, there is a lot to choose from. But don't expect to be able to copy exact looks - there's been no mention of white hats so far.

Olivia Pope is famous for her chic looks, and Lyn Paolo regularly shares the secrets to creating her style. In 2013, she created an exclusive window for New York store Saks Fifth Avenue inspired by Olivia Pope's looks, featuring items from designers such as Giorgio Armani, Calvin Klein, Michael Kors, Donna Karan and Carolina Herrera.

Thankfully the collection from The Limited will be slightly more affordable in price - starting at $49, roughly £30. You can save the rest of your cash to splash out on red wine and popcorn to perfect your Olivia Pope lifestyle.
